NexGard® (afoxolaner) by Boehringer Ingelheim is a once-monthly beef-flavoured chewable that kills fleas and ticks in dogs and puppies 8 weeks and older (minimum 2 kg). Begins killing fleas within 4 hours. Available in four weight-based strengths (2–50 kg). Prescription required.
