Overview
Immunocidin® Equine is a CFIA-approved immunotherapeutic for the treatment of sarcoid tumors in horses. It has a high post-treatment tumor-free rate and is well tolerated by horses, including older animals. Immunocidin® Equine has minimal side effects and an excellent safety profile, safe for use in pregnant mares. Immunocidin® Equine is an emulsion of mycobacterial cell wall fractions that have been modified to reduce their toxic and allergic effect but retain their antitumour activity. Immunocidin® Equine stimulates the activation of macrophages and thymic lyphocytes which kill tumor cells.
