Overview
EstroPLAN is an hormone indicated for an intramuscular use to induce luteolysis in cattle. The luteolytic action of estroPLAN can be utilized to manipulate the estrous cycle to better fit certain management practices, to terminate pregnancies resulting from mismating and to treat certain conditions associated with prolonged luteal function. Each mL of estroPLAN contains 263 μg of cloprostenol sodium, equivalent to 250μg of cloprostenol, in an isotonic citric acid buffer containing the antimicrobial preservative chlorocresol 0.1%w/v.
